The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has invited public comment on Agrivida’s application for the deregulation of its GM maize event PY203. Maize varieties containing event PY203 have been genetically engineered to produce the enzyme 6-phytase for nutritionally enhanced food and feed use.
