The US-based turfgrass companies Altas Turf International and Pure Seed have commenced full-scale production of the herbicide-tolerant seeded seashore paspalum variety Stratis, with ACCe Technology, which reportedly represents the first herbicide-tolerant seeded seashore paspalum in the world. Compatible with ACCe-inhibiting herbicides, including sethoxydim, fenoxaprop, fluazifop-butyl, and pinoxaden, the variety combines Pure Seed’s seeded paspalum with ACCe herbicide-resistant technology, providing selective control of grasses such as bermudagrass, crabgrass, and goosegrass.
