Australia's Office of the Gene Technology Regulator (OGTR) has issued a licence to Bayer, authorising the commercial release of the cotton Bollgard 3 ThryvOn cotton with XtendFlex Technology. The trait stack provides resistance to common cotton pests, including bollworms, aphids and thrips, as well as tolerance to the herbicides glyphosate, glufosinate and dicamba.
