BASF has announced the addition of three new Bollgard 3 XtendFlex cotton varieties to its Stoneville portfolio in the US, with each of the varieties possessing tolerance to Liberty (glufosinate), Engenia (dicamba) and glyphosate herbicides, while also having three-gene lepidopteran resistance. The Bollgard 3 trait was developed by Monsanto and was first commercialised in Australia in 2016/17.
