Bayer has announced a distribution agreement with M.S. Technologies for soybeans containing the Enlist E3 trait. Bayer will distribute soybean seed with Enlist E3 technology beginning in the 2023 crop season in brands that will be launched later this year. Soybeans with the Enlist E3 trait provide tolerance to glufosinate, new 2,4-D choline, and glyphosate herbicides. Bayer is also developing its fourth generation soybean herbicide tolerance trait that possesses tolerance to glyphosate, dicamba, glufosinate, 2,4-D and HPPD herbicides. This trait is currently in phase three of development and the company aims to commercialise the technology in 2027.
