Calyxt has launched its Calyno High Oleic Soybean Oil, representing the first product by Calyxt to be sold on the US market. Compared to commodity soybean oil, Calyno oil reportedly contains around 80% oleic acid, 20% less saturated fatty acids, as well as zero grams of trans fat. The first commercial sale of Calyxt’s soybean oil was to the foodservice industry.
