China’s Ministry of Agriculture has approved an application from Hangzhou Ruifeng Biotechnology for the cultivation of maize varieties using glyphosate herbicide-tolerant technology in its nCX-1 genetic event. The utilisation of nCX-1 provides tolerance to glyphosate through the expression of the cp4epsps gene.
