Corteva has announced its next generation of corn rootworm trait technology that will be utilised in Vorceed Enlist maize, which builds on the company's existing Qrome maize. Vorceed Enlist provides 3 modes of action for above-ground insect protection; 3 modes of action for below-ground insect protection, featuring a new RNAi mode of action; as well as tolerance to a range of herbicides, including 2,4-D, glyphosate and glufosinate and 'fop' herbicides.

Corteva is finalising its commercial plans for Vorceed Enlist products for the US and Canada, with current introductory plans for Vorceed Enlist maize in the US including expanded farmer access for the 2023 growing season and a ramp-up in a broader set of genetic backgrounds and maturities over multiple years. By 2025 – 2030, Corteva expects Vorceed Enlist maize to become the company’s leading triple-stack offering for corn rootworm control in the US.
