The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has reported a positive scientific opinion of Bayer’s drought & glyphosate tolerant and insect resistant MON 87427 × MON 87460 × MON 89034 × MIR162 × NK603 genetically modified (GM) maize and its different sub-combinations. The latest review, undertaken by the GMO Panel, has concluded that there is no evidence of new hazards, modified exposure or scientific uncertainties that would change the conclusion of the original assessments.
