Limagrain and Rijk Zwaan have signed an agreement for the exchange of non-exclusive licences for patented traits in vegetables, increasing the potential for both companies to develop new and improved vegetable varieties. Under the agreement, the companies will share the rights to use plant material for both breeding and commercial purposes in vegetables.
