The collaboration between NRGene and Toyota to develop enhanced strawberry varieties for the Japanese market has reached a key milestone, with the partnership successfully decoding a leading commercial strawberry genome using NRGene's DeNovoMAGIC 3.0 genomic big-data artificial intelligence tool. The combination of NRGene’s assembly of the strawberry genome and Toyota’s GRAS-Di DNA analysis technology will reportedly enhance the development of natural strawberry varieties better suited to the Japanese market. NRGene has entered into several agreements with companies regarding its GenoMAGIC and DeNovoMAGIC platforms, while Toyota have formed a number of agreements which aim to enrich communities through a range of business initiatives that positively impact the environment.
