The Chinese agricultural technology company Origin Agritech has received three new licences in China:

• Two seed production and operation licences, one of which is held by its subsidiary Xinjiang Originbo Seed Limited, for the production, processing, packaging, wholesale, and retail of maize seed
• A licence for the production of genetically modified (GM) crop seed

Origin Agritech has also completed a strategic restructuring, consolidating its key production and sales entities, including Xinjiang Originbo Seed Limited, under Beijing Origin, the company’s new primary operational hub.
