UPL seed brand Pacific Seeds is to launch varieties of TruFlex canola in Australia for the 2019 growing season. The announcement follows recent Chinese import approval of the trait in canola (see AgbioNews Jan 9, 2019). TruFlex varieties possess tolerance to the herbicide glyphosate through the use of the MON88302 genetic event.
