Roquette Launches Two Plant-Based Proteins

Roquette, a France-based producer of plant-based ingredients and vegetal proteins, is to launch two new plant-based texture proteins derived from peas and fava beans. The proteins, named NUTRALYS TP-C (from peas) and NUTRALYS TF-C (from fava beans), reportedly deliver improved taste, texture performance and nutritional profiles which allow them to serve as alternatives to meat-based products. Roquette has previously commercialised two pea based proteins.
