Rwanda Joins OFAB

OCTOBER 29, 2021

Rwanda has joined Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda and Tanzania in becoming a member of the Open Forum on Agricultural Biotechnology (OFAB). OFAB was established by the African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF), an African-led NGO that works in 23 countries, in 2006 as a platform for advancing stakeholder interactions on agriculture biotechnology. By joining OFAB, it allows Rwanda to interact with agricultural stakeholders and share knowledge on crop and livestock biotechnology.
