Syngenta and Kansas Ethanol Enter Enogen Corn Agreement

FEBRUARY 14, 2019

Syngenta has announced a marketing deal with Kansas Ethanol in regards to Syngenta's Enogen corn enzyme technology. This three-year agreement will allow Kansas Ethanol to use Enogen technology at their ethanol plant in Lyons, Kansas.

Enogen seed varieties contain a trait that expresses alpha amylase in the grain, eliminating the need to add a liquid form of the enzyme and significantly reducing the viscosity of the corn mash.
