The USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has granted deregulation status to BASF’s herbicide-tolerant and nematode-resistant soybean event GMB151. The GMB151 event confers resistance to soybean cyst nematode through the Cry14Ab-1 protein and provides HPPD herbicide tolerance through a modified 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD-4) enzyme.
