BASF Launches New Axant Flex Varieties in the US

BASF has launched six new FiberMax and Stoneville cotton seed varieties for the 2025 US growing season, each featuring Axant Flex herbicide tolerance technology, which provides tolerance to the herbicides glyphosate, glufosinate, dicamba and isoxaflutole. The new varieties are:

  • FM 757AXTP:  A new early-maturing variety featuring resistance to bacterial blight.
  • FM 814AXTP: An early-to-mid-maturing variety that possesses Verticillium wilt tolerance, has resistance to bacterial blight, and delivers tolerance to root-knot nematode and Fusarium wilt.
  • ST 4215AXTP: An early-maturing variety suited for irrigated production with resistance to bacterial blight.
  • ST 4833AXTP: A new early-to-mid-maturing variety with tolerance to root-knot nematodes, Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt and resistance to bacterial blight.
  • ST 5855AXTP: A new mid-to-full-maturing variety with tolerance to root-knot nematodes with resistance to bacterial blight.
  • ST 5931AXTP: A mid-to-full-maturing variety with resistance against reniform and root-knot nematodes, disease tolerance against Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt and resistance to bacterial blight.
