BASF Launches New Axant Flex Varieties in US

BASF has launched three new FiberMax cotton seed varieties and one Stoneville cotton seed variety for the 2024 US growing season, each featuring Axant Flex herbicide tolerance technology, which possesses tolerance to the herbicides glyphosate, glufosinate, dicamba and isoxaflutole. The new varieties are:
- FM 765AX- Axant Flex FiberMax variety that possesses early-mid maturity delivers resistance to bacterial blight, Verticillium tolerance and resistance to root-knot nematodes. This variety also possesses storm tolerance.
- FM 868AXTP- Axant Flex TwinLink Plus FiberMax variety that possesses medium maturity and resistance to root-knot nematodes, three-gene lepidopteran pests, and possesses storm tolerance.
- FM 823AXTP- Axant Flex TwinLink Plus FiberMax variety that possesses medium maturity, storm tolerance and a high gin turnout potential with resistance to bacterial blight, Verticillium wilt tolerance and resistance to root-knot nematodes and lepidopteran pests.
- ST 6000AXTP- Axant Flex TwinLink Plus Stoneville cotton seed variety that possesses medium to full maturity and is suitable across the cotton belt, as well as resistance to bacterial blight, root-knot nematode resistance and three-gene lepidopteran resistance.
