The US-based trait development company Cibus Global has entered into a collaboration with GDM, a company specialising in plant genetics. Through this collaboration, the two companies will use gene-editing technology to engineer varieties of soybean with novel crop protection traits that aid in the control of weeds, diseases, and pests in a cost-effective and sustainable manner.
