The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has reported a positive scientific opinion of Syngenta’s Bt11 × MIR162 × MIR604 × 1507 × 5307 × GA21 (6-stacked) genetically modified (GM) maize, known in the US as Agrisure Duracade 5222 E-Z Refuge, and its different sub-combinations. The latest review, undertaken by the GMO Panel, has concluded that there is no evidence of new hazards, modified exposure or scientific uncertainties that would change the conclusion of the original assessments.
