Bioceres Crop Solutions has received approval for its HB4 drought and herbicide tolerant soybeans from the Canadian Health Agency and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. With this approval, HB4 soybeans now have regulatory approval in 85% of the global soybean market, having already received approval in the US, Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. HB4 soybeans were recently approved for field-testing in Uruguay (see AgbioNews Sep 28, 2020).
