The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has reported a positive scientific opinion of Corteva's genetically modified (GM) herbicide-tolerant and insect-resistant DP910521 maize for import, processing and food and feed uses. The DP910521 genetic event confers resistance against certain lepidopteran insect pests as well as tolerance to the herbicide glufosinate through the expression of mo-pat, pmi and cry1B.34 genes.
