The US-based biotechnology company TeselaGen Biotechnology has established Built Biotechnologies (Built), a spin-off company that will focus on advanced DNA manufacturing. Built will provide molecular biology services and products advancements in cell and gene therapies, agricultural biotechnology and phage genomics. Built's first laboratory will be based in Charlottesville, Virginia, where TeselaGen will have direct access to an experimental facility that will allow the company to further test, enhance, and independently validate its computational models and in silico workflows in collaboration with Built.
