The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has reported a positive scientific opinion of Bayer’s MON 87419 genetic event in genetically modified maize for import, processing and food and feed uses. The MON 87419 genetic event contains the dmo and the pat expression cassettes to confer tolerance to dicamba-based and glufosinate-based herbicides.
